WCPCCS Hong Kong Workshop 2025

Help us raise $15,000 to lead a global workshop addressing CHD screening challenges in low-resource settings.

One Heart Health WCPCCS Workshop

About the Workshop

One Heart Health will host a workshop at the 9th World Congress of Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery (WCPCCS) in Hong Kong, December 7–12, 2025. Titled “Unseen Barriers to CHD Screening”, the session aims to uncover hidden challenges in diagnosing congenital heart disease (CHD) in underserved communities.

Why It Matters

CHD is the most common birth defect globally, yet timely screening remains out of reach for many. This workshop will gather global pediatric cardiologists, nurses, NGOs, and individuals with lived CHD experience to identify challenges, brainstorm solutions, and spark international collaboration for stronger, community-based screening programs.

Workshop Highlights

  • Guided SWOT analysis from participants across four continents
  • Facilitated group activities to prioritize local solutions
  • Knowledge-sharing on CHD awareness and implementation science
  • Creation of a post-congress white paper for continued advocacy
