Expand CHD Technology and Screening Opportunities in 2026
Make your impact count before the year ends.
This season, your gift could mean the difference between early detection and missed diagnosis for a child with congenital heart disease. As we expand our programs globally and integrate life-saving AI technology, we’re inviting you to be part of our goals in 2026.
Give before December 31st to help us reach more children, train more doctors, and scale our heart screening technology to communities that need it most.
Funding Priorities
CHD Screening
We are building a global network of doctors and nurses using the One Heart App to detect heart defects early, in places where no pediatric cardiologist is locally available. With your support and your network, we can keep reaching the children who need screenings the most.
As we close out 2025, One Heart Health is seeing powerful momentum: our partners in Nigeria have integrated our app across 5 rural sites across Osun and Ekiti States and are adding 2 more before the year ends; in Bolivia our partners are expanding their screening network by adding 10 new doctors across multiple sites; in Mongolia our partners have expanded their screening program to 3 new hospitals in Ulaanbaatar; and new partnerships are forming in Kenya and Tanzania. One Heart Health now supports the screening of over 1,000 newborns and children a month!
The technology is working and the demand is growing. Our biggest barrier now is funding. To sustain and scale this impact, we need resources to train providers, equip clinics, and expand into new regions to reach more hearts.
Technology Development and CHD Research
As we look ahead to 2026, sustaining our technology to support CHD screenings is our top priority. We successfully launched the One Heart App and proved the power of our detection algorithm. However, the One Heart App, our machine learning algorithms, and our cloud infrastructure must all be updated and maintained regularly to enable doctors to screen children for CHD.
Another objective of our team is to continue advancing research with our screening partners in AI analysis on digital heart sounds. The second phase of the Digital Heart Sounds Study is on track to gather over 50,000 heart sounds that will unlock new insights and capabilities for AI analysis to accurately detect heart defects in children. This research is led by our partner doctors onsite in Bolivia, Mongolia, and Nigeria.
