Introducing One Heart App v1.1: Improved Tools to Support CHD Screening

At One Heart Health, we’re continually working to ensure our technology meets the needs of healthcare workers on the frontlines. With that mission in mind, we’re excited to share the release of Version 1.1 of the One Heart App—a major update that enhances the experience for doctors and nurses conducting congenital heart disease (CHD) screenings.

This update comes with improvements based on real-world feedback and testing from our global partners. With a stronger, more intuitive user interface and improved functionality, Version 1.1 will ensure more children have access to early CHD screening, no matter where they live.

What’s New in v1.1

  • Phonocardiogram Enhancements: The phonocardiogram view has undergone major improvements. Users can now more clearly visualize heart sound data in real time, enabling faster, more confident assessments during screenings.
  • Improved Live Recording Mode: The live recording functionality is more responsive and stable, helping healthcare providers focus on capturing high-quality heart sound data without distraction.
  • User Interface (UI) Upgrades: The app has been redesigned for a smoother user experience, with cleaner layouts, better navigation, and visual updates to improve usability during high-pressure moments.
  • Bug Fixes: We’ve addressed common issues to provide a more seamless and reliable experience across devices.

What’s Coming Next

In the coming months, the app will also see:

  • Integration of Machine Learning Algorithms to support automated murmur detection and heart sound classification.
  • Additional UI Enhancements to support scalability and ease of use.
  • Updated In-App Tutorials for better onboarding and training, helping new doctors and nurses get started quickly and effectively.
